The ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark, one of the most important Swiss start-up awards, went to Decentriq in 2024. The future of functional imaging in patients with suspected Alzheimer’s dementia

Imaging techniques (neuroimaging) are important for the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, as they can visualize misfolded proteins. However, these diagnostic imaging methods are bulky and expensive. The company Positrigo has recognized this problem and has significantly downsized the scanner to make functional brain imaging more efficient, cost-effective and accessible.
