Companies are not the only ones facing this question today: How do I find qualified IT staff? Open-source projects that rely on the work of volunteers face the same problem. One example is the Core Rule Set (CRS) project, which is working on a comprehensive rule set for the ModSecurity web application firewall under the umbrella of the OWASP open-source organization. To help potential team members overcome their shyness, we are portraying selected developers from the core team.
