The three finalists for the ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark 2023 have been chosen
The ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark has been promoting deep-tech innovations since 2001 and is endowed with CHF 100,000. Three start-ups – AgroSustain, MUVON Therapeutics and Synthara – have made it to the final. Two finalists will each receive CHF 10,000, and the main winner will be announced on 31 May 2023.
New texts for the Centris website
Centris, the Solothurn-based IT service provider for health and accident insurers, has relaunched its website to present its services clearly and concisely. science communications wrote and edited most of the texts, from the introduction to the brief descriptions of the 30 business services.
Twelve start-ups are still in the running for the ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark
Forty-six start-ups have applied for the ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark 2023, more than twice as many as last year. Twelve companies have now been nominated for the CHF 100,000 prize. Since 2022, the prize has had an English-language website, which attracts applications from all over Switzerland. You can find out who the nominated companies are in our press release.
“Meet the CRS team” – Developer portraits for recruiting collaborators
For the open-source project OWASP CRS, we portrayed Andrea Menin, a member of the core team. The Italian, who joined the team in 2018, loves finding workarounds for CRS rules. In his spare time, he plays board games and guitar. For him, the most important thing about working on the project is that it’s fun. Read more about Andrea in our article on the CRS blog.
Swiss Cyber Storm 2022: a success all round
Under the motto “Digital Identities and how to secure them,” this year’s Swiss Cyber Storm brought together 350 participants and international experts in the Kursaal Bern. For the second time, we were in charge of communications and media relations for the event.

The October issue of the Technopark magazine Einblick has been published. It was an exciting challenge to research and write about a wide range of topics such as digital music education planning, mitochondrial transplants, quantum computing and a strategy check for Technopark tenants.
